I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Fordham University and have since gained extensive experience working in a variety of settings. My career began in a skilled nursing and residential care housing center, where I supported patients with chronic health issues, dual diagnoses (both mental health and substance use disorder), and housing insecurity.
I then served as a psychotherapist at an outpatient community mental health agency, working with children, adolescents, and their families to address a wide range of mental health challenges. My journey continued in a hospital setting, where I worked with patients in crisis, patients with dual diagnosis, those facing acute and chronic illnesses, individuals at the end of life, and postpartum mothers.
In addition to these roles, I also served as a reproductive health educator, facilitating evidence-based curriculums aimed at empowering teens to make informed choices about their reproductive health. Through a holistic approach, we focused on building self-confidence, defining personal values, identifying healthy relationships, and developing communication skills to navigate these sometimes challenging conversations with trusted adults.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with people at various stages of life, each facing their own unique challenges. This diverse experience has deepened my understanding of the many factors that impact well-being, allowing me to offer a more comprehensive and empathetic approach to therapy. By engaging with individuals across different life circumstances, I’ve gained valuable insights that enhance my ability to support clients in navigating their personal journeys.
Why I do this Work
The reason I do this work is simple—I find joy in helping others become healthier and happier versions of themselves. I believe that, as humans, we all have experiences that lead us to understand the depths of mental and emotional pain, whether it comes from suffering at the hands of others or from the harsh self-judgment we often impose on ourselves. This pain can be difficult to escape or change, especially on your own. It not only affects us internally but also spills over into other areas of our lives, such as our careers, friendships, and intimate relationships.
I believe that no one should be defined by their pain or their current circumstances. You are more than your struggles, and there is always a path to something better. My mission is to help you realize that no matter where you are right now, you can have more—more inner peace, more self-compassion, more love, more connection, and more of anything you desire. There is so much peace that comes with healing and everyone deserves to have that. I will be alongside you as you relieve the burdens of your symptoms and revive your inner strength. Together, we will pave the way for a life filled with greater peace, connection, and fulfillment.
